Similarities between mail and Email

In class we have listed the similarities between email and mail. email and mail both are ways of communication. Attachments are similar to a physical packages that are delivered through mail except that it is a data package. Invitations, pictures, and even videos all can be sent through both email and mail. A negative to both mail and email is delivery problems. Physical mail can be misplaced or lost and may never be sent. Email on the other hand is sent to a sever or a client first before it is sent to the designated email. Therefore there is a chance that data may not be received or if there are errors in the system.

With all the similarities there are also differences. For instance email is not physical mail so a picture is just data instead of something that can be held physically. Another downside is the amount of junk mail received in an email account. A positive to email is that it does not require stamps to send and sending/receiving mail is almost instant.
